Demo Day
The finish line, run jointly with the Engineering cohort. You submit a live product and its URL, which is mandatory, and you present it live, which is opt-in. It is recorded, so the demos become project and testimonial content afterwards.
If you present, keep it to three minutes. Suggested shape:
- What it does and who it is for (lead with the user, not the tooling)
- How you built it (Lovable, Claude Code, n8n, Hermes, whatever you actually used)
- Live demo of the one core action, about 90 seconds of it working
- What your evals surfaced, and the one fix you shipped because of it
- What you would build next if you kept going
Critical
Record a backup demo
Live demos break. Record a short screen capture of the same flow before Demo Day and bring it as insurance. If the live version stalls, switch to the recording and keep talking.
Prepare the walkthrough from your Sprint brief, lead with what the product does for its user, show it working live, and be honest about what your evals surfaced. A real product, shown plainly, with an honest word on its quality, is the strongest thing you can present, and by this point you will have exactly that.

Not sure your project is strong enough?
Ask in build-support office hours or message the instructor before Demo Day. Course-correcting early beats freezing for two weeks.
Running it with the engineers is deliberate, not logistical. A founder presenting a product next to an engineer presenting the agent underneath is the clearest possible moment for the two cohorts to see each other's side of the same craft, and it is where a lot of people first glimpse the next rung, whether that is a builder deciding to go learn the engineering, or an engineer seeing how a product person frames and ships.

Done when
- Live public URL submitted in Maven
- Core action works for a stranger in a fresh incognito window
- If presenting: three-minute walkthrough rehearsed at least once, out loud, against a clock
- Backup recording exported and ready to play
