Become AI‑native at Operations in five minutes
Learn the decision strong AI-native operators make before automating a handoff: which steps can run on their own, and where a person must look before an error reaches a customer, a supplier or the ledger.
- About 5 minutes of lessons, then a short exercise you write
- Free, no card
- Human-reviewed credential
- No account to start
What you will be able to write
- Gather
- Collect what the next team needs: read a form, extract from a document, pull a record.
- Check
- Compare it with something you trust: a rate card, a policy, an earlier record.
- Decide
- Choose between options: payment terms, priority, approve or decline.
- Act
- Change something beyond the process: send, pay, create an account, post to the ledger.
- Test
- Agreed: would two experienced colleagues do it the same way? Reversible: is it cheap to undo? Visible: would we notice an error before it reaches a customer, a supplier or the ledger?
- Line
- Three yeses: automate and sample. A no for only some cases: automate the standard case and queue the rest for a person. The one mandatory review sits just before the first step that fails for every case.
What you will be able to do
One move, learned well enough to be assessed on it
Operations, finance operations and revenue operations people, team leads who own a process, and anyone asked to automate a handoff between teams.
- 01Break any handoff into Gather, Check, Decide and Act steps
- 02Test each step: is it agreed, reversible and visible?
- 03Place the one review that matters, with the evidence the reviewer needs
How it works
Learn it, apply it, have a person check it
Step 1
Learn the model
Short lessons built around one worked example. No video to sit through.
Step 2
Make a call
Judge a realistic situation and see why each option is right or wrong.
Step 3
Make it about your work
Tell us your role and what fills your week. Your final exercise and next steps adapt to it.
Step 4
Submit for review
Write a short applied answer. A TAI Labs reviewer reads it and replies by email.
The credential
AI-Native Operations: Foundations
Issued only when a TAI Labs reviewer has read your applied exercise and every criterion is met. Anyone can verify it from its credential ID. It is an introductory credential, not a full certificate: that is AI Automations Bootcamp.
- Breaking a handoff into steps
- Testing steps for safe automation
- Placing the human review line
How the reviewer decides
- Decomposition
- Four to eight steps, each starting with a verb and labelled Gather, Check, Decide or Act.
- Tests applied
- Every step is tested for Agreed, Reversible and Visible, with a reason for every no that a colleague could check.
- Line placement
- Three yeses are automated and sampled, a no for only some cases sends those cases to a person, and the one mandatory review sits just before the first step that fails for every case.
- Reviewer's job
- Names the evidence the reviewer sees, what they can approve or change, and what happens to a rejection.
- Your own case
- Applied to a handoff other than the Fernhill one, with details the lesson did not give.
Before you start
Questions
Course by Aamir Faaiz, CEO of Bayesian (AI Consultancy).
The free first step of AI Automations Bootcamp.
- Is it really five minutes?
- The lessons take about five minutes at a steady pace. The final exercise asks you to map a real handoff, so give it a few extra minutes if you want a strong result. The timer is a guide, never a deadline.
- Do I need an account to start?
- No. We ask where to save your progress after the first lesson, and you only create an account, with a one-time code sent to your email, when you submit the final exercise.
- What is the credential, exactly?
- AI-Native Operations: Foundations. A TAI Labs reviewer reads your applied exercise against the published rubric, and the credential is issued only if every criterion is met. Anyone can verify it from its ID. It is an introductory credential. The full pathway is the AI Automations Bootcamp.
- Will I be sold to?
- Nothing is sold during the course and we never ask for payment details. At the end we recommend what to learn next, including paid options, and you are free to ignore all of it.
- What happens to my answers?
- They are stored with your account and read by a TAI Labs reviewer. They are never sent to advertising platforms. Your email is not added to marketing emails unless you tick the box that asks for them.
