The tension
Client work changes. The method still needs to travel.
J2 Intelligence did not need a single impressive prototype. Its consultants and executives needed AI practices that could move from one engagement to the next and flex across different client contexts.
That meant connecting strategic judgement, delivery work and go-to-market execution rather than treating AI as a specialist side activity.
The intervention
Build the method around real consulting scenarios.
The six-session programme brought consultants and executives into one cohort, connecting strategy, delivery and go-to-market.
Practitioner-led sessions used the team's own client scenarios. The session-five toolkit included eight reusable resources: product brief, AI specification, evaluation set, risk register, intake procedure, confidentiality checklist, client-sensitive information guide and handoff checklist.
The change
A more reusable way to practise AI-native consulting.
The cohort created a shared reference point from leadership through delivery.
J2's teams left with repeatable workflow patterns they could adapt across the lifecycle of an engagement, from framing the problem to taking an offer to market.
