How to make your marketing team AI-native

How TAI Labs takes a marketing team from an approved customer insight to campaign copy, image and video concepts and a test plan: the workflows, the creative tools, the brand-voice skill and the plan.

An AI-native marketing team turns an approved customer insight into campaign copy, image and video concepts and a test plan through workflows it built on its own brand rules, with a marketer reviewing everything against the brief before it goes live. The route TAI Labs runs is a 12-week programme: discovery on how the team really produces work, live labs in the tools it already uses plus the creative tools worth adding, a brand-voice skill the whole team shares, and a handover so the system outlives the training. This guide is that plan.

What changes when a marketing team is AI-native

The volume of drafts stops being the constraint. What the team spends its time on instead is judgement: which insight to build a campaign around, which of three creative directions to test, whether the copy passes the brand checklist. AI generates the variations; the marketer decides. The teams that get value are the ones that wrote their process down first, because a brand-voice skill is only as good as the style guide and the examples behind it.

  • Research: an audience brief built from interviews and campaign evidence, linked to its sources, with no invented customer quotes.
  • Creative: one brief becomes three directions, with image and video concepts made in Higgsfield and reviewed for product accuracy and brand fit.
  • Production: a long interview becomes a newsletter, social posts and a sales-enablement draft, each adapted for the channel without changing the meaning.
  • Measurement: a performance brief that separates what the data shows from what it proves, and proposes the next test.

Start with the workflows, not the tools

Marketing teams usually start with the campaign concept workflow below, because it touches research, copy and creative in one pass. The other ten, with inputs, method and output, are on the AI training for marketing teams page.

  • Research an audience from interviews and campaign evidence, without inventing quotes.
  • Create product video concepts in Higgsfield from approved images and a script.
  • Develop ad variations that change one message or visual at a time, with the hypothesis recorded.
  • Repurpose a long-form interview for each channel while preserving the meaning.
  • Build a brand-voice skill from your style guide, prohibited claims and best examples.
  • Prepare a search content brief that maps intent and the missing answers.
  • Prototype a campaign landing page in Lovable and check the message hierarchy.
  • Create a reviewed voiceover draft in ElevenLabs, aligned to the edit.
  • Explain campaign performance without confusing observed change with cause.
  • Coordinate content approvals so final sign-off stays explicit.

The tools a marketing team actually uses

The stack a marketing team learns in the programme has three layers: an assistant for research and writing, creative tools for image, video and voice, and the connections that keep briefs, assets and approvals moving.

  • ClaudeBriefs, copy and analysis grounded in your research
  • ChatGPTResearch, drafting and campaign data questions
  • HiggsfieldImage and video concepts from approved assets
  • CanvaAdapt approved concepts into channel formats
  • ElevenLabsVoiceover drafts for campaign video
  • PerplexityAudience and competitor research with sources

A 12-week plan to make the team AI-native

  1. Interview the team and read the brand guide

Weeks 1 to 2. Where do briefs stall, how many revision rounds does a campaign take, which claims are prohibited. The brand guide and three examples of the best recent work become the raw material for the brand-voice skill.

  2. Set a baseline

Time from approved brief to first reviewed concepts; revision rounds against the brand checklist; campaign experiments launched last quarter. These are the week-12 comparisons.

  3. Agree tools, source assets and review

Which assistant, whether Higgsfield and ElevenLabs are in scope, which product images and voices may be used, and who signs off creative before it is public.

  4. Live session one: the campaign concept

Weeks 3 to 4. Every marketer takes one approved insight to three creative directions, with image and video concepts, and reviews them against the brief with an instructor.

  5. Live session two: the brand-voice skill

Weeks 5 to 6. The team encodes its voice, prohibited claims and review checklist into a reusable skill, then tests it on new briefs until the drafts pass without editing the rules.

  6. Live sessions three and four: production and measurement

Weeks 7 to 10. Repurposing a long interview across channels, the search content brief, the landing page prototype, and the performance brief that proposes the next test.

  7. Office hours

Throughout. Two open sessions for the concept that did not pass brand review and the workflow that broke on a real campaign.

  8. Demo day and handover

Weeks 11 to 12. The team presents working campaign workflows. The skills, prompt library, connections and the programme itself are handed over on your learning platform with an executive readiness report.

The knowledge and training system the team keeps

A marketing team's system is its brand-voice skill, its approved-asset rules and its review checklist, saved where the work happens. Once those exist, a new marketer learns the team's way of working from the system in a week, and the team never runs the same training twice.

  • The brand-voice skill: voice, prohibited claims, review checklist and the best examples
  • A prompt library by campaign stage: research, concept, copy, adaptation, measurement
  • Approved source assets and voices, and the rules for using them, written down
  • A content queue with visible review status and explicit final approval
  • The programme on your learning platform for the next intake
  • The executive readiness report with the baseline and week-12 comparison

Keep the brand in control

AI creative fails in public in two ways: a product shown wrongly, and a claim the company cannot support. Both are review problems, not tool problems, so review is built into every workflow.

  • Every concept is checked against the brief and the brand checklist before it leaves the team.
  • Product images and video concepts are checked for accuracy against the real product.
  • Prohibited claims live in the brand-voice skill, so drafts fail early rather than in legal review.
  • Customer quotes are never generated. Research briefs link to the interview or evidence they came from.
  • Voices, likenesses and licensed assets are used only where permission is recorded.

How to measure whether it worked

Measure the work, not the tool count. DataCamp's 2026 survey found 26% of enterprise leaders cannot measure the return on their AI training; the fix is a baseline before the first session. For a marketing team the useful measures are:

  • Time from an approved brief to reviewed concepts
  • Revision rounds against the brand checklist
  • Campaign experiments launched and evaluated per quarter
  • Share of the team using the brand-voice skill unprompted

Mistakes that stall marketing teams

  • Generating before researching. Ten hooks from no insight are ten guesses.
  • Skipping the brand-voice skill. Without it every marketer re-explains the voice in every prompt and the drafts drift.
  • Publishing AI images without a product-accuracy check.
  • Measuring output volume. More drafts is not more campaigns that worked.
  • Training only the content team. Growth, brand and the agency need the same skill or the voice splits.
“The asynchronous format made it easy to catch up and focus on the parts most relevant to my job. Practical, and immediately useful.”

Frequently asked questions

Can you teach Higgsfield as part of the programme?

Yes. Image and video concept workflows in Higgsfield sit alongside research, copy and design tools. Formats, source assets and the review process are agreed during scoping.

Do we need a creative or engineering background?

No. Marketers start with briefs, copy and concepts. More technical sessions can connect campaign tools, build custom MCP connections or package a process as a reusable skill, for whoever owns marketing operations.

Can we use our own brand guide and assets?

That is the point. The brand-voice skill is built from your style guide and your best work. We agree which assets, voices and product images are permitted before the sessions.

Will AI publish anything for us?

No. Every workflow ends in a draft or a concept for a marketer to approve. Automated publishing or sending is scoped separately with your approval steps.

How long does it take?

The full programme runs twelve weeks. A workshop series covers one workflow, usually the campaign concept, in two live sessions over about a month.

What does it cost?

Indicative ranges for a 20-person team are on the custom AI training page, and the cost guide explains what moves the number. A written proposal follows the scoping call.

Start with one campaign workflow, encode the brand voice into a skill the whole team shares, review every concept against the brief, measure against a week-zero baseline, and hand the system over so it keeps working after the training ends. That is what TAI Labs does with marketing teams in twelve weeks.
